COVID-19 and your 2022 stay
Your health, safety and happiness is important to us and our team is committed to keeping you safe. Regardless of the government’s reduced measures, we still take your health and safety seriously.
We have kept some changes from 2020 & 2021 in the way we operate in some of our key areas and will continue to update our best practice as needed. You will see this reflected in:
Self-Catering:
- Each lodge will be treated with our disinfectant fogger between changeovers.
- All linen is washed with an added detergent ‘Dettol Antibacterial Laundry Cleanser’ – this kills 99.9% of bacteria, so that you can be confident that your laundry is hygienically clean every time. Our washing procedures meet industry standards and above.
- We will not enter your self-catering lodge unless we feel it is absolutely necessary
- Our change-over cleaning is, as always, very thorough. Even soft furnishings will be sprayed with the disinfectant fogger.
- We have a dedicated office mobile number so you can text/what’s app any questions or queries to us where you’d usually pop up to reception for a chat. This phone will be monitored during the reception opening hours of 8:30am-6pm. If there is an emergency out-of-hours, each guest is given an emergency number in their arrival information.
- Check-in and check-out will be less personal than we’d like but we must lessen contact. Details of your checking in process will be emailed to you or may be on your original booking email. When checking out at/before the departure time of 9:30am, you can send a text or email to us to let us know you’ve departed, thank you!
- Our pool is now open but we are currently welcoming fewer swimmers at any one time. All swimmers must sign in to reception and adhere to the rules. Please come ‘Swim-ready’!
- Visitors can visit you on site however they must be registered with reception (names and contact numbers), leave by 10pm and adhere to our park rules
- Ultimately, we ask all our guests to be aware of others – although the 2m social distancing is not mandatory anymore, we ask all guests to be considerate of other’s wishes and personal space as you don’t know others’ feelings or health conditions. Thank you!
Camping/touring:
- The freezer, hot drinks machine and leaflet stand have been relocated, don’t worry!
- You are responsible for wiping any surfaces in shared facilities
- We’re making outside cold water washing up areas so people don’t have to come inside to wash up.
- We love to provide the little details that make your stay easier where we can! Unfortunately this year, we have had to stop supplying clean tea-towels and wash cloths in our washing up areas to avoid transmission of any germs etc.
