Wheal Rodney Holiday Park Near Penzance: Terms and Conditions
Conditions of Booking for Holiday Bungalows
The person making the booking is accepting the conditions on behalf of and with consent of all members of the party.
We reserve the right to re-let any bungalows unclaimed after 24 hours (3p.m. the day after booked) unless otherwise notified.
The number of persons occupying the accommodation must not exceed the advertised capacity of the bungalow, nor include without prior agreement any persons not named on the booking form.
No bookings will be accepted from unaccompanied persons under 18, or any all male, all female, or mixed groups. No bookings will be accepted from persons taking part in club or championship activities, e.g.:sailing, diving, windsurfing.
Cancellation: In the event of cancellation less than six weeks before a holiday begins, the balance due must be paid in full, unless we succeed in re-letting, or it is covered by a holiday cancellation plan. With more than six weeks notice, the deposit only will be forfeit. Every effort will be made to re-let, and monies re-paid should we be successful within one month. An administration charge of £25 per week is mandatory and includes clients with holiday cancellation plan.
A dog is permitted at a charge and prior agreement in some bungalows; however, they should never be left unattended in the bungalow, must be kept off furnishings, and not allowed into bedroom areas. Dogs must be kept under control, and on a lead at all times whilst on site. We reserve the right to require the owner of any dog to remove it from the park if it is found to be causing a nuisance. Dogs who have not been booked on the booking form will not be accepted into dog free bungalows, and the owners of the site will be under no obligation to provide alternative accommodation or provide a refund.
Bungalows are available from 3p.m. on the day of arrival, and must be vacated by 10a.m. on day of departure.
We reserve the right to refuse any booking application, any to evict any party causing a nuisance, or not adhering to site rules.
We cannot accept responsibly for any injury, loss or damage, however arising to any persons using the site, nor do we accept any responsibility for any damage or loss to personal property, motor vehicles or pets brought to the site.
Any damage/breakages in bungalows or on site must be paid for in full. Bungalows must be left in a clean and tidy state.
Bungalows left damaged or in an unclean condition, which require extra to our usual changeover cleaning, may be charged for the repairs and additional cleaning required. Any damages/extra cleaning accounts must be settled within 14 days.
Every effort has been made to ensure that the details contained in our brochure are full and accurate: we are unable to accept responsibility for facilities that are subsequently found to be unavailable onsite, or in bungalows due to unforeseen circumstances.
Swimming pool use: TO conform with stringent health and safety laws: Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied in the swimming pool by a responsible adult over 18 years of age at all times, irrespective of the child’s swimming ability.
Wheal Rodney operates a “quiet after 10p.m.” policy. Complaints about noise are taken seriously and can result in the offending party being asked to leave the site. No refunds will be due if this occurs.
A charge based on a meter reading will be made for electricity used during the stay. A deposit of £15 is payable before arrival and deduced from the final electricity bill to be paid on departure. The rate per unit charged will be the one currently charged to us by our supplier.
