Walking Marazion to Perranuthnoe
Marazion has many beautiful coastal walks where you can exercise your dog whilst enjoying the stunning views of Mounts Bay. The beaches and coastline to the east side of St Michaels Mount have no dog restrictions and can be accessed from various parts of Marazion.
Follow the path next to Marazion Post Office to go to ‘The Gwelva’ where there are steps leading down to the beach.
Opposite Marazion Square you will see Top Tieb sign posted. This lane (behind ‘Out Of The Blue’ gallery) will take you down to the beach.
Leaving All Saints Church to your right, continue up the street until on your right hand side you see Leys Lane (next to a gallery). Again, this will lead you to the beach.
This beach known locally as Steps Beach or ‘Pigs Cove’ is a dog friendly beach all year round.
Head out of Marazion leaving The Fire Engine pub on your right hand side. At the top of Turnpike Hill on the right hand side is the cemetery. To the left hand side is a lane that will take you along a coastal path to Perranuthnoe or down to the sea.
Always check the tide state before venturing out in these areas.
Tide times are always available at reception.
