Buses
Dogs on leads will be carried at the discretion of the driver. If there is already one dog on the bus the driver may not accept a second. There may be a charge for this. All assistance animals are carried free of charge by all operators. Other animals in cages are carried at the discretion of the driver.
Isles of Scilly by Boat
Dogs must remain on a lead at all times. They are not allowed onboard where food is being served. When booking passenger tickets online for Scillonian III, dog reservations can also be made.
Dogs that are helping blind, deaf or disabled passengers can travel free of charge and are allowed onboard.
Isles of Scilly Skybus
Travelling with a dog by Skybus is currently only available from Land's End airport and mst be booked in advance, as two passenger seats from an 8 seater 'Islander' aircraft must be removed. This allows enough space for a dog box. Please note the dog box is RSPCA approved.When booking flights to include a dog from Land's End Airport you must call 0845 710 5555, as they reservation cannot be made online and are subject to availability.
If a service dog needs to travel, please contact Skybus prior to travel by contacting Isles of Scilly Travel Centre on 0845 710 5555. Please note service dogs can travel free of charge and will be accommodated on the floor at the feet of the dog handler.
Isles of Scilly by Helicopter
When travelling with British International, pets are welcome but the Reservations Team must be informed when the booking is made so that air kennels can be provided.
Dogs must be kept on a lead and controlled when boarding.
First Great Western Trains
A maximum of two animals per passenger is permitted on First Great Western trains. They can travel free of charge but are subject to conditions.

Dogs must be on a lead at all times.

Dogs or other animals must be carried in a basket that is enclosed, when not held on a lead. They must not occupy seats or else a charge will have to be made.
- They must not endanger or cause inconvenience for either staff or passengers.
- No animals are allowed in to the restaurant carriages, except for guide dogs.
- Advanced booking of at least 48 hours should be made for dogs traveling in sleepers.
Fal River Links
Dogs are welcome on the ferries provided they are kept on a lead. They are not allowed in gardens.
