Camping meadow
Our meadow has eighteen sheltered marked pitches for tents.
Two extra large pitches are available for those with the new style bungalow
tents.
BBQ's are allowed as long as they are kept off the grass (bricks available
at reception!). |

Electric Hook-up
Area
At the left of our site entrance is pitch number 1, which is a very popular
pitch with regular guests, being completely by itself and looking across
open fields towards Marazion. (although normally let to
just one family this pitch has two electric hook-up points and is spacious
enough to take two caravans if friends wish to stay together) |
| |
|
|
 |
|
At the right of the entrance
is a grassed area containing a further six pitches. Looking out from these
pitches the area directly behind the boundary of Wheal Rodney holiday park
is farmland, looking across towards Trencrom Hill, which is the highest
point in the district of Penwith (pictured), and from its other side, overlooks
St. Ives, which is just 4.5 miles from Wheal Rodney as the crow flies. |

Close to the amenities block
(which houses reception, the indoor swimming pool, shower blocks and the
laundry) is a grassed area containing a further five pitches. These are
ideal for those with small children or anyone wishing to be close to the
facilities. |

As we are a "Quiet after 10.00pm"
site there is no bar on site, but our nearest pub in Marazion - is just
five minutes walk up the lane, children are welcome, dogs on a lead are
accepted, and there is a beer garden. A Further selection of pubs and restaurants,
the beach and the causeway to St. Michael's Mount are all within easy walking
distance. This view of St. Michaels mount is taken from the beer garden
of the nearby Fire Engine Inn. |

Please note:
Children:
Whilst children are, of course, welcome, we would like to point out that
we have no playground or recreation area for ball games etc., and so tend
to attract adults and young families who return because they appreciate
the standards kept on site and our close proximity to Marazion. Some Teenagers
can find it boring here! Young children must be well supervised at all times
on site and Under 8's must be accompanied inside the amenities block and
shower facilities. |

|
 |
|
Dogs are welcome
The
amount of dogs on site at any one time is limited so please book early.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times on site, and should be exercised
off site. There are several walks available directly from the site, the
coastal footpath is ten minutes walk away. A list of dog permitted beaches
(there is a nice one in Marazion itself) can be found at reception. |

Arrivals
Pitches are
available from 1.00pm on your day of arrival to 11.00am on your day of
departure. As a small site, we have no holding area so we regret that
we cannot accept arrivals on site before 1.00pm unless arrangements have
been made with reception.
A plan of the holiday park showing the location of pitches is
available by clicking here. |

Travelling overnight
Caravans
travelling overnight, during mid and peak season, wishing to take up their
pitch from 8.00am onwards, must book the pitch for the night before your
early morning arrival. The basic tent pitch fee applies for these holding
nights, so it can work out very cheaply. Please ask for a quote. For the
peace and enjoyment of our families staying on site the earliest arrival
accepted is 8.00 am and the latest arrival is 8.00pm. |
